Magazine Front Cover - Developing Ideas

  
Below are screenshots I have taken as I have created my first initial ideas for my music magazine front cover.

For the first two ideas I experimented with different images from my choice of front cover images. I edited these images on Photoshop changing the brightness and contrast and changing the first from colour to black and white. I added my title and top and bottom banners changing the colour of pink in each design. I chose not to use these designs are the images were too large and too bright for a front cover against the title and banners.

For the two designs below I changed my image and edited the brightness and contrast to make it bold and bright enough to not contrast against my banner. I changed the colour of the banners and title font and, on the first of the two, tilted the font so that it overlapped the image. On the second design I added a side border of the image and had the font straight across the mast head. However I decided against the two ideas as they did not fit my idea of a Rock music magazine.
